Hello!
I’m so happy to have you here.
I created this guide with lots of love so that you can get the most out of your CliftonStrengths test and so that we can work together in the best possible way.
In the world of coaching and personal development, few tools have proven to be as powerful and effective as the CliftonStrengths test. This tool, developed by Gallup, helps you discover, understand, and enhance your natural strengths so you can reach your full potential—both personally and professionally.
And yes, this is not just a promise: it’s also a challenge. Because it requires dedication, effort, and commitment. But tell me… is there anything truly worthwhile in life that doesn’t require that?
So, let’s get to the point 🙂
Below, I’ll walk you through what CliftonStrengths is, how it works, what benefits it offers, and how you can use your results to transform your career and your life—based on my own experience, both as a user and a certified coach.
CliftonStrengths is a methodology based on decades of research in positive psychology and human development, created by Donald O. Clifton, known as the Father of Strengths-Based Psychology.
Clifton and his team at Gallup started with a groundbreaking idea: why focus only on our weaknesses, when we can enhance our strengths?
That’s how the CliftonStrengths Assessment was born—an evaluation designed to help you identify the areas where your natural talent shines most.
Since then, millions of people around the world have used this tool to better understand themselves and build more authentic, fulfilling lives.
It’s an online test made up of questions designed to measure how you think, feel, and act in different situations.
When you finish, you receive a personalized report with your top five talents—also known as your “dominant themes.”
These talents are grouped into 34 different areas, across four main categories:
With this information, you can begin to understand your natural talents and develop them into real strengths.
Self-awareness
Discovering your talents allows you to understand who you are, how you operate, and why you do what you do.
This is key to unlocking your zone of genius—that part of you that’s just waiting to be seen and developed.
Professional development
Having clarity about your strengths is like having a compass that guides you toward roles, projects, and environments where you can truly shine.
Standing out becomes natural, and improving your performance becomes energizing instead of exhausting.
Improved relationships
When you understand your talents—and those of others—you open new doors to empathy, respect, and fluid communication.
Relationships become more genuine, deeper, and more inspiring.
Positive focus
Instead of getting stuck on what you don’t do well, this approach invites you to expand what’s already within you, ready to grow.
Beyond self-awareness (yes, I know, that word feels overused!), what truly matters about CliftonStrengths is how the results show up in your day-to-day life:
As a coach, I guide you through a deep process of self-discovery using your CliftonStrengths results.
We explore how your talents show up in your life, and how you can develop them to reach their most mature and effective version.
Sometimes, a talent may show up in a “shadow” or immature state. That can become a subtle form of self-sabotage that holds you back.
In our sessions, we work on this with practical and reflective tools—touching on both professional and personal areas, depending on what you need.
More often than not, what happens in session creates a before and after.
Because it changes how you see yourself—and how you see the world.
It helps you realize that you don’t need to fit in or be like anyone else.
You just need to connect with who you already are.
That’s where your power is.
That’s where your purpose lives.
Are you ready to discover your talents and transform your life?
